July 10, 2009 - Andrew Niccol's script "The City That Sailed" replaces "I am legend Prequel"
Will Smith and director Francis Lawrence are currently working on a new film based on Andrew's script, which although great to hear more of his work is being made, it will be rewritten by Brian Koppelman and David Levien (Ocean's Thirteen). Looking forward to more news about that project.

May 16 2009 - "The Cross" filming is set to begin mid-September in Australia
John Goodman will join the cast along with Orlando Bloom, Vincent Cassel, and Olga Kurylenko.

Feb 5 2009 - Andrew Niccol is set to direct a new movie, entitled "The Cross", starring Orlando Bloom and Olga Kurylenko.
The film is about a man, (Bloom), who is an astronaut in the near future who decides to cross a barrier in space that no-one has crossed before. Vincent Cassal plays a guard who tries to foil that plan at any cost. The film is currently budgeted at $24 million.

June 26, 2009 - "Dali and I" scrapped and "The Cross" is in
Dali and I is no more, but on the plus side, Andrew Niccol is working hard on a new film called The Cross with a great cast, which is set to start filming in a couple months, be sure to come back for more news.
